EFCC, Army arrest 120 suspected oil thieves (PHOTOS)

EFCC on Monday Announced the arrest of 120 suspected oil thieves. EFCC spokesman Wilson Uwujaren said in a statement that the suspects were arrested for suspected illegal oil sourcing in a joint operation by staff from the anti-corruption agency and the Nigerian Army’s 6th Division Garrison Port Harcourt in the rivers state. The alleged oil thieves, according to the EFCC statement, were arrested on Saturday, August 13, 2022. They were suspected of illegally refining stolen petroleum products and unloading them into vehicles at docks for distribution in and out of Rivers State.
