We are looking for reparation- Opeyemi Bamidele

Opeyemi Bamidele, a gubernatorial candidate in the recently concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections in Ekiti, has assured supporters that he is seeking redress for “the flagrant abuse” of trust during the exercise. Mr. Bamidlele, a senator representing Ekiti Central on the APC platform, who made this statement in Abuja on Sunday, lamented how the process was hijacked by those at the forefront of matters at APC’s Ekiti chapter. He said: “Of course, we are taking immediate action within the confines of our party constitution and the law to seek redress for this blatant breach of trust and due process by state actors. “It is public knowledge that no primary election was held on Thursday, January 27, yet disappointingly, however, the results were announced based on fabricated and fictitious vote counts. “So while we are on this quest to find an amicable solution to this impasse, I urge everyone to remain calm and pray that justice and truth prevail for the benefit of the people of Ekiti.” ALSO READ: Ekiti 2022: Fraudulent APC Primaries- Applicant Other challengers believed that the primary elections won by Abiodun Oyebanji, a former immediate secretary of the state government, had been biased in favor of the winner.
